A New Year Approaches

As the new year approaches it is my prayer that all of you will ask Jesus into your life. As I wrap up the writing of my book I look forward to getting an agent/publisher. It is extremely important to get this information out to everyone. There is no greater tragedy than having a son take his own life.

It is my hope that I can save a life. There is too much suicide in today's world. I will continue to blog a little bit of each chapter in the weeks to come.

God continues to hold me up in His loving arms. May God Bless each and everyone of you.

Why should you read my book?

The death of our oldest son, by his own hand, has clouded all the days since with sadness, inexpressive grief, and pain. Sharing his story, and our journey, is a challenging process. I do so hoping to help anyone who is considering death t see that the sun will shine again, and to share my faith and hope for the future.

Christmas Season

It is getting closer to Christmas - the time where our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, was born. We need to stop and give thanks to Him for all He has done for us. Even though we go through tragedies we need to hold firm to Jesus. He will keep us strong and will always be here for us.  All we have to do is ask and He will hear and answer us. He has a plan for each one of us. We may not like it but He knows best.  All those who are suffering this season know that He cares and so do I. Pray for your loved ones and try to stay strong. Merry Christmas!

A Parent's Worst Nightmare

The call came at 1:03AM. Unbelieveable - a SGT in the Marines a Sheriff Deputy and he's dead???? Be aware of the people you think you love and their love for you. Is it love or isn't it?

Why write a book?

My son took his own life due to a failed relationship. He had everything going for him. The Lord led me to write a book on his life and I hope to save someone's life through my experience.
